Role Overview

Accounting and Reporting

• Supervise, mentor, and review Senior Accountants' daily work, journal entries, and ledger reconciliations.
• Own error detection, forensic verification, and monthly and annual financial statement close processes.
• Create executive dashboards, cash flow forecasts, and runway projections for the CEO and Board.

Treasury and Investments

• Formulate and execute a risk-managed corporate treasury framework.
• Invest surplus company capital safely in diversified portfolios, income-generating assets, or expansion funds.
• Manage liquidity and cash flow cycles, mitigate FX risks, and structure capital repatriation pathways.

Corporate Finance and Transactions

• Conduct valuation modeling, unit economics assessments, and financial due diligence for acquisitions, new branches, and joint ventures.
• Analyze service-line margins to optimize pricing models and eliminate revenue leakage.

Compliance and Banking

• Partner with Tax and Legal functions to ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and IFRS frameworks.
• Maintain relationships with corporate banking partners and secure institutional wealth management tools.
• Address compliance roadblocks affecting corporate banking activities.

Candidate Profile

• Twelve to fifteen years of total corporate finance experience, including three to five years in a CFO or VP of Finance role.
• Relevant experience in a corporate service provider, management consultancy, wealth management, or private equity environment.
• Active experience in M&A, investment management, or corporate asset deployment.
• Experience working directly with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or Xero.
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE financial ecosystem, Central Bank parameters, and local regulatory reporting.
• An active CFA, or a CPA, CA, or ACCA credential paired with an MBA in Finance from a globally recognized institution.
• Ability to combine board-level investment strategy work with detailed accounting review and execution.
