The Role
Finance Intern supporting accurate books, timely month-end close, and finance operations in collaboration with the Finance team and business partners.
This is a hands-on role based in qlub’s Dubai office, with exposure to end-to-end finance operations.
What You’ll Own
- Support bank, payment gateway, transaction, and intercompany reconciliations; flag and help resolve discrepancies.
- Help prepare customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes; support AP and AR by recording vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
- Assist with accruals, reconciliations, and account reviews for month-end close.
- Keep accounting records and supporting documents accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements.
What You’ll Need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping; working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; able to work independently and with a team.
- Fluency in English is required.
Nice to Have
- Previous accounting or finance internship or coursework.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems and basic understanding of bank and payment reconciliations.
- Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial reporting.
- Experience in payments, fintech, hospitality technology, or a high-growth marketplace.
