Role overview

Scope of work

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and accounting treatments.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers.
• Identify errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies; provide corrections with clear rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial-systems logic across NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI-generated responses.
• Create accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training.
• Provide actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
• Support transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting.

Preferred qualifications and other qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities is preferred.
• Preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements is preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable systems is preferred.
• Strong Excel proficiency is preferred; familiarity with BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Paid AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading experience is required.
• English written and verbal communication at B2 level or above is listed.
• Independent work, meeting quality standards and deadlines, reliable internet, and immediate availability are listed qualifications.
