Financial leadership and planning

• Develop financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and long-term business goals.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Lead accurate, transparent, and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor performance and key indicators and recommend improvements to profitability.
• Manage financial risks and strengthen financial stability.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial controls, and internal reporting procedures.

Analysis, governance, and partnerships

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management on investments, expansion plans, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop financial models and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decisions.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions, and external advisors.
• Lead preparation of annual budgets, financial statements, and management reports.
• Identify cost and resource-efficiency opportunities and establish internal controls and financial governance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or corporate financial management.
• Proven leadership managing financial teams and complex financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, risk management, cost optimization, and investment evaluation.
• Understanding of accounting standards, taxation, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving, leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in financial management systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.

Advantageous qualifications

• A master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are advantageous, depending on role requirements.
