Finance Controller (OneStream Expert)

Role overview

Financial controlling

• Own and support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; ensure accurate, timely management reporting and performance analysis.
• Partner with business leaders, provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

OneStream and transformation

• Serve as OneStream subject matter expert and improve consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Translate business requirements into OneStream solutions; lead enhancements, automation, and process optimization projects.
• Liaise across Finance, IT, Data & Analytics, and external partners; lead workshops and requirements gathering.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and adoption; support finance transformation, group standardization, and future platform roadmap advice.

Governance and coaching

• Maintain financial controls and governance; support audits and compliance requirements for financial systems and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency; review processes and recommend control improvements.
• Mentor finance users and OneStream Operations Specialists; develop documentation and training materials and promote learning and adoption of standards and tools.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Requires 8+ years in Finance Controlling, FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Finance Transformation.
• Requires strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidation experience and at least 4 years of hands-on OneStream experience.
• Requires experience in multinational and multi-stakeholder environments.

Knowledge and competencies

• Knowledge of FP&A, financial consolidation and group reporting, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, and performance management.
• Knowledge of OneStream administration and configuration, financial governance and internal controls, ERP and finance systems integration, and finance transformation.
• Requires stakeholder management, business partnering, communication, presentation, business acumen, analytical problem-solving, and professional written and spoken English.
• The candidate should influence senior stakeholders and translate complex financial topics into clear recommendations.
