Role overview

Reporting and FP&A responsibilities

• Develop and maintain management reports, financial dashboards, and executive performance scorecards; analyze financial and operational trends, risks, opportunities, and improvements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; analyze revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and operational performance; prepare leadership reporting packs and presentations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning; perform actual-versus-budget-and-forecast variance analysis, trend analysis, scenario modelling, and performance reviews.
• Support business cases, investment evaluations, and financial decision-making.

BI and business analysis responsibilities

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, and create visualizations for executive and operational decisions.
• Develop KPI frameworks and reporting standards; validate data; promote self-service reporting and improve reporting efficiency.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Project Management, and Shared Services; facilitate stakeholder workshops and gather business requirements.
• Translate requirements into reporting solutions and dashboard specifications, challenge assumptions, and align reporting with business objectives.

Data quality and improvement

• Support finance data governance, reporting standardization, data quality, reporting reliability, and KPI consistency.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities; document processes, methodologies, and standards; contribute to finance transformation initiatives.

Experience and expertise

• Requires 4–7 years in FP&A, financial reporting, management reporting, business control, finance transformation, or finance business analysis.
• Requires experience supporting Finance, Controlling, or Performance Management and building Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions.
• Requires experience working with stakeholders across Finance and Operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, maritime, engineering, industrial, construction, project-based, or shared services environments is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, management reporting, KPI development, performance management, financial statements, revenue and cost, margins, profitability, and working capital.

Technical skills and attributes

• Technical skills include Power BI, advanced Excel, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, financial modelling, management reporting, KPI reporting, and data analysis.
• The role calls for analytical problem-solving, commercial awareness, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, organization, attention to detail, curiosity, and initiative.
• Candidates should be able to translate complex financial information into clear business insights and work in fast-changing environments.
