Finance Analyst supporting financial planning, analysis and control activities for a factory.
The role supports the Site Controller in managing the local finance department and improving factory performance.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate period closing and forecasting activities and deliver related reports and analyses.
- Support and challenge budgets, targets and strategic plans; report KPIs and challenge performance against targets.
- Provide timely management information, performance measurements and actionable analysis.
- Act as SAP key user and handle financial matters for new SKUs, including master data, BOM and recipe revisions.
- Complete daily CvC checks, maintenance-order close activities and production-order analysis.
- Support Purchase to Payment in SAP and SRM support for cost centre and ZBB imputation.
- Drive improvements in ways of working and reporting structures and provide inputs to factory projects.
Required experience and skills
- University degree in Business Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Up to two years of professional experience; factory experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and judgement in analysis, reporting, planning and forecasting.
- Ability to analyse problems and recommend actionable changes.
- Planning and prioritisation skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Business orientation, English communication skills and a self-starting approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
- SAP knowledge or experience is listed; manufacturing experience is desirable.
Reporting line
The role reports to the Finance Manager.
