Job Purpose
Manage Accounts Payable activities, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, IFRS-related accounting requirements, and Oracle ERP transactions.
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of supplier invoices, vendor reconciliations, tax compliance, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of Oracle AP and GL records
Strategic Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement of AP, tax, and financial control processes.
- Support Oracle ERP optimization and automation initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
1.
Review supplier invoices and support documents prior to processing them in Oracle ERP.
2.
Ensure invoices are accurately coded, approved, and recorded in Oracle AP.
3.
Manage supplier payments and AP sub-ledger activities.
4.
Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
5.
Monitor and analyze AP aging reports and support cash flow planning.
6.
Support month-end and year-end close activities related to Accounts Payable.
7.
Prepare VAT schedules and support documentation for VAT return filings.
8.
Support Corporate Tax (CIT) compliance and reporting requirements.
9.
Ensure accounting treatments comply with IFRS requirements and company policies.
10.
Support internal, external, VAT, and Corporate Tax audits.
11.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
12.
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and management schedules.
13.
Utilize Oracle AP and GL modules for transaction processing and reporting.
14.
Assist in Oracle ERP testing, system enhancements, and process improvements.
Developmental Responsibilities
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives and continuous professional development.
Experience
Relevant experience in Finance and Accounting, with strong exposure to Accounts Payable, VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS, and Oracle ERP Finance modules
