We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team.
The successful candidate will assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilitie
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
- Support training and guidance of junior kitchen staff when required.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Requirement
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurants.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred.
