Role overview

Installation and maintenance

• Install and configure print machines and MFDs; commission network connectivity, print drivers, scanning workflows, and user authentication.
• Provide installation handover and basic user orientation.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnose print quality, paper handling, hardware, firmware, and software integration faults.
• Replace defective parts with genuine OEM-approved parts and validate equipment before leaving the site.

Customer support and service administration

• Respond to on-site and remote service calls within SLA response times; advise customers and provide demonstrations or technical presentations as required.
• Escalate unresolved issues with diagnostic details and maintain professional conduct at customer sites.
• Record job sheets, service reports, parts usage, meter readings, consumables usage, and equipment status in the CRM or service system.
• Report recurring faults, health trends, and parts needs; maintain an organised engineer kit.
• Meet service-level expectations, minimise repeat visits, support customer satisfaction, and follow HSE and client site safety procedures.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
• 3–6 years of field service experience with office or commercial print machines and hands-on fault diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong multi-brand print and MFD technical knowledge; ability to diagnose hardware, software, and print quality issues.
• Proficiency with service management or CRM systems, good communication skills, and a valid UAE driving licence.

Desired qualifications and experience

• Engineering or IT bachelor’s degree and OEM certifications from Fujifilm, Kyocera, HP, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, or Canon are strongly preferred.
• Fujifilm and/or Kyocera experience in the UAE/GCC, MPS-managed print experience, and familiarity with SLA-driven contracts are desired.
• Multiple OEM platforms, network printing, scan workflows, print driver configuration, fleet management, and remote monitoring experience are desired; Arabic is an advantage.
