Overview

Design & Collection Development

• Develop seasonal and capsule collections for the Women's RTW category.
• Create original designs, sketches, mood boards, technical drawings, and tech packs.
• Research global fashion trends, fabrics, trims, colors, and silhouettes.
• Develop commercially viable designs aligned with brand positioning and customer preferences.

Product Development

• Collaborate closely with pattern makers, sample tailors, and production teams.
• Review samples and conduct fittings to ensure desired fit, quality, and finish.
• Implement design modifications based on fit sessions and management feedback.
• Monitor product development timelines to ensure timely completion of collections.

Trend Research & Market Analysis

• Monitor international fashion trends and competitor collections.
• Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and emerging opportunities.
• Translate trend forecasts into commercially successful designs.

Production Coordination

• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and production departments.
• Ensure designs are technically feasible and production-friendly.
• Support factory teams during pre-production and bulk production stages.

Brand Development

• Maintain consistency with the brand's aesthetic and identity.
• Contribute ideas for new product categories and design innovations.
• Participate in collection presentations and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design.
• 3–8 years of experience in Women's Ready-to-Wear fashion design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing RTW collections.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related fashion design software.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern development, fabrics, embellishments, and trims.
• Excellent trend forecasting, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Women's luxury RTW, contemporary fashion, designer wear, or premium fashion brands.
• Middle Eastern fashion, modest wear, abayas, kaftans, evening wear, or designer dresses.
• Experience working closely with garment manufacturing and production teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary up to AED 10,000 per month (depending on experience and portfolio)

• Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
