Role overview
Design fashion collections, primarily menswear, while supporting other categories and creative projects as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and market developments; develop concepts, mood boards, sketches, and collection presentations.
- Design menswear garments and accessories, and support other product categories when needed.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, colorways, and fabric selections.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers through sampling and production; review samples and provide feedback on fit, construction, fabric, color, and finishing.
- Attend fittings, make design adjustments, and ensure products reflect brand identity, quality standards, and target customers.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, production, and retail teams; follow production timelines and help complete collections on schedule.
Requirements
- Previous fashion-design experience; menswear experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, sizing, and fit.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, Procreate, Techpacker, and CorelDraw.
- Ability to create technical drawings and communicate clearly with suppliers.
- Creativity, attention to detail, awareness of current fashion trends, and good organization and time management.
- A strong portfolio showing relevant fashion-design work.
- Versatility and comfort contributing to different collections and fashion-related projects.
