Role overview

Key activities and responsibilities

• Ensure activities comply with company standards, legislation, and health and safety requirements.
• Manage and maintain site buildings, facilities, and infrastructure for smooth operations.
• Coordinate external contractors delivering maintenance and improvement projects.
• Issue and manage permits to work for safe site activities.
• Identify improvements to facility performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Define facility and equipment requirements for current and future business needs.
• Use the CMMS to plan and track maintenance, statutory inspections, and key performance indicators.

Required skills and experience

• Experience in facilities engineering or a similar role.
• Good understanding of building regulations, compliance requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Ability to manage projects and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Comfort using digital tools and maintenance management systems to plan and coordinate activities.

Preferred background

• Experience within a manufacturing environment is ideal.
