The role is part of Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering, maintaining and optimizing technologies across the warehouse and delivery network.
The job purpose describes a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician focused on safety, timely preventative maintenance, equipment availability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize health and safety and comply with standards and regulations.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on site equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, communicate with affected parties, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Use breakdowns to identify improvements and share feedback through the line manager.
- Maintain equipment availability for internal customers.
- Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians; manage contractors.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least one year of hands-on experience.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics and communication, or instrumentation and controls.
- One or more years of conveyor, automation, or control-systems maintenance experience is preferred.
Shift Pattern
- The shift pattern may include nights and weekends.
Workplace
- The work involves equipment maintenance at an Amazon warehouse or delivery-network site in Abu Dhabi.
