About Operations Technology Solutions

Role Overview

The Field IT Manager role supports technology operations and leads technical teams across multiple locations.

The role calls for a self-motivated leader who develops teams and fosters solutions to operational challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience developing teams of technical professionals across multiple locations.
  • At least two years of experience leading technology teams as an information technology operations manager.
  • Bachelor's degree or at least four years of professional or military experience.
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hardware architectures.
  • Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop technical professionals across multiple locations.
  • Lead technology teams in an IT operations management capacity.
  • Support Amazon Operations technology across fulfillment, sortation, logistics, and last-mile operations.
