Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support, mentor, and manage maintenance supervisors and technicians; set goals, priorities, staffing plans, and training.
• Provide reactive and preventive maintenance for operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Maintain asset performance metrics and improve performance and compliance KPIs.
• Support safety and statutory compliance programs with site safety and leadership teams.
• Implement network standards and preventive maintenance to maintain equipment availability.
• Organize shift technical coverage, team training, local projects, and assigned regional projects.
• Develop vendor annual maintenance contracts with suitable service levels.
• Monitor and respond to customer trouble tickets; verify vendor service and report SLA failures.

Basic qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year using a computer maintenance management system for planning, scheduling, and auditing maintenance activities.
• At least 1 year of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Flexible schedule and shift availability, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays; travel up to 15%.
• Practical engineering experience, including people supervision, and experience with automated equipment such as sortation and conveyor systems.

Preferred qualifications

• Four or more years of maintenance planning or scheduling in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, or equivalent.
• Experience with material handling systems installation, operation, and maintenance.
