Role overview
Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Etqan Global Academy's buildings, grounds, and infrastructure in Doha.
Ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment supporting teaching, learning, and the school community.
Key responsibilities
- Manage school estate operations and coordinate planned preventive and reactive maintenance.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, testing, certification, and audit support.
- Manage on-site contractors and service providers, ensuring safe, high-quality work.
- Support refurbishment and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain asset registers, equipment records, and maintenance histories.
- Support facilities budgets and procurement, seeking efficiency opportunities.
- Provide facilities support for events, examinations, and emergencies.
Candidate requirements
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing facilities operations in a complex operational environment and coordinating maintenance programmes and contractors.
- Good understanding of building maintenance, statutory compliance, and facilities management.
- Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- CFM, FMP, or equivalent certification is desirable.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification is desirable.
- Education-sector and/or GCC experience is desirable.
