Facilities Maintenance Manager - Manufacturing

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, fire protection, and local regulatory requirements.
• Supervise maintenance, facilities, and housekeeping personnel.
• Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, control operating expenses, and coordinate facility improvement, renovation, and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to maintain facility operations, utilities, and infrastructure availability.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or industrial facility operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial facilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, workplace safety standards, and vendor management.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, project management, and budget-monitoring skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
