Oversee safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building systems and infrastructure.
The position is full-time and the stated work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other building systems.
- Monitor equipment performance, facility operations, and energy use.
- Coordinate repairs, installations, inspections, and maintenance with internal teams and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with UAE safety, regulatory, and authority requirements.
- Manage or support renovation, fit-out, and facility improvement projects.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
- Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, and facility-related issues.
- Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate daily facility operations.
- Monitor contractor performance and standards.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and maintenance planning when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant facilities management or maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of building services, MEP systems, HVAC, and BMS.
- Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS and maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of UAE regulations and authority requirements, including DEWA, Civil Defense, and Municipality regulations.
- Previous facility management experience is required.
- Commercial-facility experience in retail, hypermarkets/supermarkets, restaurants, or similar settings is preferred.
- Leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Ability to manage multiple maintenance activities and coordinate contractors and service providers.
