Financial performance and stock
- Drive store sales, revenue targets, gross profit, and vendor-related revenue opportunities while controlling operating costs.
- Maintain product range, stock availability, inventory accuracy, and stock levels; coordinate audits and reduce shrinkage, wastage, and stock loss.
Customer, team, and compliance
- Maintain customer service, promotional execution, category presentation, and merchandising standards.
- Manage staff productivity, discipline, performance, and shifts; provide coaching and training and coordinate staff welfare.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and product quality; comply with municipal guidance, local labor laws, regulations, documentation, and checklists.
Controls and assets
- Maintain financial controls, secure cash handling, and register reconciliation.
- Oversee maintenance, equipment servicing, and physical assets; coordinate with HR, Finance, Buying, Warehouse, and Logistics and escalate issues with solutions.
Candidate qualifications
- At least 8 years of progressive store-operations experience in the hypermarket or supermarket sector.
- GCC-region experience is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
