Join the bakery division as a customer-oriented Sales Cum Cashier.
The role requires prior experience in a similar bakery, café, or supermarket bakery position.
Work location is in person.
Customer service and sales
- Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service.
- Explain bakery products and help customers make purchasing decisions.
- Recommend add-ons, featured items, and daily specials.
- Handle inquiries, special cake orders, and feedback professionally.
Cashiering and POS
- Process cash, card, and mobile-payment transactions using the POS system.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change, and maintain and reconcile the cash drawer at shift end.
- Prepare daily sales reports.
Merchandising and inventory
- Keep bakery counters, display cases, and shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor freshness and expiration dates and apply FIFO standards.
- Track wastage, report inventory needs or shortages, receive stock, and apply accurate price labels.
Store maintenance and hygiene
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Keep sales and customer areas clean, wipe surfaces, sanitize equipment, and maintain a tidy workspace.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Sales Assistant, Cashier, or Counter Staff in a bakery, café, or supermarket bakery section.
