Experience and qualifications
- At least five years of managerial experience in a luxury hotel environment in the UAE is required.
- Experience in Forbes- or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-rated properties is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of industry regulations is required.
- The role calls for organization, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
Housekeeping leadership and operations
- Collaborate with all departments and the leadership team to support smooth housekeeping operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards throughout the hotel.
- Prepare the annual linen budget based on quantity inventory.
- Manage expenses, labor, and material resources to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Liaise with external contractors and audit their services regularly.
- Implement health, fire, and safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
- Build team morale through recognition, coaching, and removing identified barriers.
- Uphold standard operating policies and deliver high service levels to guests.
