Housekeeping Supervisor

Compensation

• Fixed monthly salary of AED 2,000.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment in the UAE.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management or housekeeping certifications or training are preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Forbes and LQA standards are advantageous.
• Computer literacy and mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook, with exceptional hotel PMS knowledge, specifically Opera.
• Understanding of industry regulations is beneficial.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Role capabilities

Housekeeping operations

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to luxury standards.
• Train and mentor the housekeeping team on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory.
• Address guest concerns promptly and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas and follow up on improvements.

Coordination, records, and safety

• Collaborate with other departments and communicate issues to the next shift; complete required paperwork.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activity, room occupancy, maintenance requests, and lost-and-found items.
• Follow safety and security procedures; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Promote PPE use and safe cleaning and chemical handling practices; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uniform, protect confidential information and company assets, and assist housekeeping leadership with budget and resource allocation.
