Plan, manage, and execute impactful internal and external events that align with organizational goals and values, ensuring seamless coordination, efficient resource allocation, and exceptional attendee experiences while driving innovation and continuous improvement in event strategies.
Essential Duties
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive event management calendar that tracks all upcoming events across departments. Ensure efficient coordination and minimize scheduling conflicts to maximize participation and impact.
- Manage the development, planning, and execution of all internal and external events, ensuring they align with organizational goals, values, and branding. This includes corporate events, team-building activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage the event budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor event costs and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with the internal communications team to develop messaging and promotional strategies for events. Ensure alignment with the overall communication strategy to maximize engagement and attendance.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices. Introduce innovative event formats and strategies to enhance employee experience and engagement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring high service standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure all event requirements are met.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, measuring success against established objectives.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement in event planning and execution.
- Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other related tasks assigned.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Preferable to have 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar field/position.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of Communication, Graphic Design, Marketing or equivalent in a similar discipline appropriate to the job duties.
- It is preferable to have a specialized certificate in the field
