Event Registration, Customer Service & Timing Intern (Unpaid)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Respond to participant enquiries and assist with registration updates, changes, and general event information.
• Support race pack collection and event-day check-in to help ensure an organized process.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external timing providers on participant start lists, timing chips, and race results.
• Help resolve timing and results enquiries, escalating issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate registration records and participant information.
• Support post-event reporting, results follow-ups, and general administrative tasks.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and good problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort managing enquiries and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, participants, and external providers.
• Flexibility to support event-day operations when required.
• An interest in sports, events, or customer service is an advantage.

Compensation
