Estimator - Interior Fit-Out

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications for fit-out projects
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimation with detail specification. (materials, labor, subcontractors)
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs
• Source and evaluate quotations from UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure pricing aligns with current UAE market rates and standards
• Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals within deadlines
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs
• Identify risks and provide cost-effective solutions
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
• Attend client/consultant meetings, including pre- and post-tender discussions
• Maintain and update cost databases specific to UAE projects
• Should have knowledge of FIDIC Green Book.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of total experience in estimation, with mandatory UAE fit-out experience (minimum 2–3 years).
• Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts, and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in estimation and measurement software.
• Strong understanding of local market rates, materials, and suppliers in the UAE.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience in  interior fit-out projects  in Dubai or the UAE market.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and construction standards.
• Membership in professional bodies such as RICS or AIQS is a plus.
