Role responsibilities
- Establish best practices and continuous improvement in the commercial department and estimation team.
- Analyze tender documents for technical risks, standards compliance, and bid decision support.
- Follow up with Sales/Bid Coordinators on design, RFIs, tender documents, lead forms, and addendums; coordinate drawing discrepancies with the Design Team on design-and-build projects.
- Monitor team resource allocation and submission deadlines; prepare daily tender status reports.
- Review and finalize cost estimates covering materials, quantities, work, equipment, manpower, logistics, and addendums.
- Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals; review BOQ packages for accuracy and completeness before tender release.
- Attend pre-bid and corporate or client presentations; document and track historical tender data.
- Execute estimates and presentations in an office-based role reporting to the Head of Estimation.
Essential qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
- Excellent written and verbal English; good analytical and numerical skills.
- 3 to 5 years' construction-industry experience as an Estimator.
- Five years of interior fit-out estimation experience.
- Experience preparing accurate, detailed estimates.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PlanSwift, and AutoCAD or similar software.
- Ability to meet deadlines under extreme pressure and read and translate engineering drawings.
- Good time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable qualifications
- Experience with a reputed fit-out or contracting company is desirable.
- ISO 9001 awareness, LEED awareness, UAE authority fees and processing, and basic HSE requirements are desirable.

- The role is office-based and work location is in person.
