Role overview

The Estimation Manager owns tender preparation and technical-commercial sign-off, reporting to the Executive Director and Projects Director.
The position offers Board and tender-committee exposure on major live bids.
Compensation
- Compensation is QAR 50,000 or more per month, with the final package based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Own BOQ coding, quantity take-off, and full tender preparation in CCS.
- Build RFQ packages with specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contract terms; coordinate fixed-price, back-to-back terms with contracts teams.
- Lead subcontractor comparison tables and chair meetings on scope, program, methodology, and contract compliance.
- Present weekly Board tender reports and final reviews to the tender committee.
- Develop bid-winning strategies, manage cost-per-square-meter and unit-rate KPIs, and own top sheets for costs, risk, overhead, escalation, finance, and tax.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a US- or UK-accredited university.
- Experience at an international prime contractor on projects valued at $200 million or more.
- GCC experience in major infrastructure or high-rise developments.
- Hands-on BOQ coding in CCS, quantity take-off, and RFQ package preparation.
- Experience leading tender teams and presenting to Board or tender committee level.
- Long-tenured career history with recognized construction firms.
