The employer seeks an experienced estimator familiar with the UAE aluminium and metal fabrication industry.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings; prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Prepare quotations from drawings, specifications, and client requirements; calculate quantities for aluminium, glass, steel, stainless steel, and other fabrication materials.
- Assess fabrication methods, material specifications, and installation requirements; coordinate with sales, production, and procurement.
- Review supplier quotations and material prices; identify project requirements, exclusions, and possible cost variations.
- Maintain estimation sheets in Excel and extract quantities from AutoCAD drawings.
- Attend site or client meetings when needed and support sales with competitive, commercially viable quotations.
Required qualifications and experience
- 3–5+ years of UAE estimating experience in aluminium, metal, or steel fabrication.
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and estimation or costing spreadsheets.
- Experience with UAE aluminium and metal fabrication projects; ability to read architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
- Good understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation.
Preferred experience
- Estimating experience in pergolas and louvers, doors and windows, curtain walls, glass, stainless steel, mild or structural steel, handrails and balustrades, cladding, or custom metal fabrication.
- Residential and commercial project experience is listed among preferred estimating areas.
Compensation and employment
- Employment type: full-time.
- Pay starts at AED 2,500 per month; salary is also described as negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
