Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Conduct environmental monitoring and field sampling using project requirements and approved methods.
• Sample marine water and sediment, soil, and groundwater; monitor ambient air quality and conduct noise surveys as required.
• Operate survey and sampling equipment and maintain accurate field observations and records.
• Consolidate results and prepare factual environmental monitoring notes and reports.
• Support terrestrial and marine ecology surveys, coordinate fieldwork with the team and site representatives, and follow site safety procedures.
• Support environmental documentation and administrative work and complete assignments from the Environmental Team Lead.

Must-have requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a relevant discipline; an Engineering degree with environmental background and relevant environmental qualifications or certifications may also qualify.
• At least 3 years of relevant field technician or comparable monitoring and sampling experience.
• Practical experience in marine or sediment, soil, groundwater, ambient air quality, and noise sampling or monitoring relevant to the assignment.
• Ability to operate sampling equipment, maintain accurate records, work independently, and prepare clear factual reports.
• Willingness to work in a field-based role at a remote or offshore project site.
