Position overview

Execute enterprise transformation and continuous improvement initiatives supporting organizational priorities.

Own initiative delivery from planning through implementation, working with business leaders, subject matter experts, and operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive assigned transformation and improvement initiatives to completion and deliver agreed objectives.
  • Develop project and implementation plans, monitor progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and meet milestones.
  • Coordinate teams and workstreams, facilitate meetings, track actions and dependencies, and escalate barriers.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, and status reporting.
  • Translate approved opportunities into actionable plans and lead implementation of processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Support operational and process change adoption, gather feedback, and recommend implementation adjustments.
  • Communicate project status, risks, accomplishments, and next steps; align with the Director of Enterprise Transformation.
  • Support process, operational performance, and employee experience improvements and document lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Management, or a related discipline; equivalent education and experience combinations are considered.
  • 5+ years supporting or leading improvement, project delivery, operational excellence, transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating and executing multi-stakeholder initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Strong organization, stakeholder collaboration, independent work, communication, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Must be eligible for Government of Canada security clearances.

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Experience supporting or leading transformation, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of process mapping, workflow analysis, or continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.

Work arrangement

  • Employees within 50 km of the Ottawa or Saskatoon offices follow a hybrid work model.
  • Remote candidates residing elsewhere in Canada will also be considered.

Compensation

  • CAD 80,000–100,000 per annum.
