Role Description
The Enterprise Architecture Manager at ROYAL EAGLE OIL FIELD EQUPMENT AND TRADING will lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s enterprise architecture landscape.
This part-time, on-site role based in Dubai will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to align IT capabilities with strategic and operational goals.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing current systems and processes, defining target architectures, and creating roadmaps for technology and business transformation.
The role will guide the development of standards, frameworks, and reference architectures, and ensure that new initiatives conform to these guidelines.
The Enterprise Architecture Manager will also analyze business requirements, document business processes, and provide recommendations that optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness while supporting compliance and risk management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture and IT Strategy, with the ability to translate organizational objectives into clear, actionable architectural roadmaps.
- Strong background in Business Architecture and Business Process analysis, including modeling, optimization, and alignment of processes with strategic goals.
- Solid understanding of Information Technology domains, including infrastructure, applications, data, and integration, and how they interrelate in an enterprise environment.
- Experience implementing architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and using related tools and methodologies.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and influence decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are an advantage.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial, especially in environments involving field equipment, trading, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively in a part-time on-site role in Dubai.
