Role Description
The Digital Transformation Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a combination of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility.
The person in this role will lead and coordinate digital transformation initiatives across the business, identifying opportunities to digitize processes, enhance workflows, and improve data visibility.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing current systems and operations, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into digital roadmaps and implementation plans.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership to evaluate tools and platforms, manage pilot projects, and support change management activities.
The Digital Transformation Manager will also monitor performance metrics, prepare progress reports, and recommend continuous improvements to ensure that digital initiatives deliver measurable value.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Digital Transformation and Business Transformation, with the ability to plan, lead, and execute cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficient Analytical Skills to assess current processes, interpret data, and identify opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement.
- Consulting experience or a consulting mindset, with the ability to engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and present clear recommendations.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking and user-centered approaches to design and implement practical, adoptable digital solutions.
- Background in technology-enabled change within industrial, energy, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management, Agile, Digital Transformation) are beneficial.
- Ability to manage part-time workload effectively, prioritize initiatives, and operate in a hybrid work environment in Abu Dhabi.
