Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Facilities Engineering Manager role based in Dubai with ROYAL EAGLE OIL FIELD EQUIPMENT AND TRADING.

The Facilities Engineering Manager will oversee the technical performance, reliability, and safety of company facilities, with a focus on oil field equipment operations and support infrastructure.

Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising facility-related projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, managing maintenance schedules and budgets, and optimizing facility systems to reduce downtime and extend asset life.

The Facilities Engineering Manager will also prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across facilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Facilities Engineering to design, review, and optimize facility systems and support infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM) to oversee day-to-day functioning, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management to plan, schedule, and monitor maintenance activities and workflows.
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental standards relevant to industrial and oil field facilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management within industrial, oil and gas, or similar environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
  • Proficiency with CMMS or other maintenance and asset management software is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.
