Leads district-level operational reviews, planning, and implementation for new products, enhancements, and client-specific solutions.
Leads service expansion, product, and process projects using established project management principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational process re-engineering and sustain best practices for operations execution.
- Plan and implement projects, manage multiple priorities, and plan resources to meet deadlines and goals.
- Facilitate training or informational sessions and perform cost justification analysis.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or another related quantitative discipline.
- Five years of engineering-related experience.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office and web-based applications; working knowledge of Business Objects.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Knowledge of FedEx ground operations.
Preferred qualifications
- One to two years of project management experience is preferred.
- Project management principles, material handling, computer-aided design, and Business Objects knowledge are listed as preferred.
Location and travel
- Successful candidates must be domiciled in Edmonton, Calgary, or Winnipeg.
- Travel is required, with ability to travel up to 75%.
