Engineering Manager

Role overview

Job objectives and responsibilities

• Oversee and assure multidisciplinary engineering scopes across onshore oil and gas field projects, including brownfield work.
• Ensure engineering complies with client requirements, procedures, specifications, and international standards; assure technical excellence and design quality.
• Implement client-specific procedures, monitor compliance, promote process safety, and prevent technical incidents through controls and lessons learned.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities; manage engineering team activities, technical work allocation, and review.
• Consult and negotiate with clients, prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present engineering reports and findings.
• Manage project cost, schedule, resources, work integration, technical concepts, and difficult engineering issues.
• Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and procedures; communicate relevant regulatory and industry developments.
• Plan and manage project design and engineering activities and interface with the Project Manager or Project Director.
