Key accountabilities
- Monitor network and service performance and handle the team during shifts.
- Report critical and major issues to management and escalate critical network issues to partners, stakeholders, and management according to the escalation matrix.
- Perform traffic re-engineering, link-capacity upgrades, and node-version upgrades to address KPI degradation and wireless network limitations.
- Initiate and manage performance and acceptance requests.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve wireless network issues and impairments escalated by other departments.
- Lead operation and maintenance of mobile and wireless networks, and manage network incidents within SLA.
- Develop automated workflows and dashboards to improve operational efficiency.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering.
- At least 5 years of wireless network experience in telecom/communications and at least 5 years of NOC operations experience.
- Able to work effectively in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Proven expertise in network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Technical skills
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Huawei NCE, NFMP, PRTG, Cisco Prime, Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2020, or Nokia NetAct.
- Programming and automation experience with Python, Power BI, and SQL for data management and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of wireless products including Huawei or Nokia, and Cisco indoor and outdoor wireless access points.
- Knowledge of radio access networks including NSN/Huawei/Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G, Cisco Wi-Fi, RTN transmission, and AAA.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel automation and VBA scripting.
