Key accountabilities
- Provide 24/7 availability and handle escalations; coordinate with carrier partners to resolve trouble tickets.
- Generate audit, health, and capacity reports; perform IGW tasks, including testing with new partners.
- Conduct acceptance testing and implement new features; make configuration changes in IGW core nodes, including SOFTX3000 and SBC.
- Handle customer complaints and VIP care cases, and resolve trouble tickets within SLA.
- Operate and maintain SBC and IGW systems; analyze call flows and telecom protocol traces.
Qualifications and experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Requires more than 6 to 7 years of experience in mobile core networks, IP networking, SIP, SS7 signalling, and telecom technologies.
- Requires knowledge of SS7 ISUP, SIGTRAN, SIP, IP networks, international call setup and call flow, H.248, SIP-I/SIP-T, and A-interface configuration and troubleshooting.
- Requires time and resource management, report analysis, communication, flexibility, customer service orientation, and strong troubleshooting.
- Requires the ability to work under pressure and motivate and inspire a team.
