Role Overview
The Prototyping Engagement Manager represents AWS PACE to customers in Saudi Arabia and helps turn ambitious ideas into working technology proofs of concept.
The role combines business strategy and emerging technology, shaping and driving customer engagements from initial discussion through prototype and next steps.
The position is based in Riyadh and supports customers across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

The Prototyping Engagement Manager represents AWS PACE to customers in Saudi Arabia and helps turn ambitious ideas into working technology proofs of concept.
The role combines business strategy and emerging technology, shaping and driving customer engagements from initial discussion through prototype and next steps.
The position is based in Riyadh and supports customers across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify innovation opportunities with account teams, specialists, and partners, especially those involving generative AI and cloud-native architecture.
- Define time-boxed prototypes with clear success criteria based on customer outcomes.
- Coordinate customer developers, AWS architects, and partners throughout engagements; manage risk and ensure outcomes and next steps are clear.
- Advise senior leaders on technology shifts and investment choices, and share successful engagement patterns across PACE.
- Feed customer insights to AWS service teams and product roadmaps.
Team and delivery model
PACE is AWS’s hands-on customer innovation team, building prototypes to reduce transformation risk and accelerate adoption.
Engagement Managers shape opportunities alongside Prototyping Architects, who lead the technical work; the role sits in EMEA PACE and draws on a worldwide community.
Required experience
- At least three years of technical product or program management experience and two years of software development experience.
- At least three years of project management experience covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical-path management.
- Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, coordinating release schedules, and working directly with engineering teams for at least three years.
