Endpoint Security and Data Leak Protection Analyst

Role purpose

Security operations and risk

• Maintain security policies, standards, procedures, documentation, and accurate records.
• Monitor procedures and systems for security compliance and breaches; investigate incidents and implement required changes.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, business impact analyses, and system accreditation; advise on controls and proportionate responses.
• Manage endpoint security and DLP policies, tools, data-flow monitoring, incident response, reporting, and remediation.
• Coordinate with IT and compliance teams and support security standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Plan and prioritize work, assess organizational changes, and align activities with team and organizational goals.

Experience and technical requirements

• The role calls for 5–6 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in a SOC environment.
• Required experience includes incident response, threat hunting, DLP, vulnerability management, and hands-on endpoint security monitoring and DLP analysis.
• Required product experience includes Microsoft Antivirus, Defender XDR, Endgame EDR, Microsoft DLP, Purview, Insider Risk Management, and Priva.
• Candidates need knowledge of endpoint security, DLP, antivirus, incident response, threat analysis, operating systems, networking, and security environments.
• Relevant experience includes system and application administration, security tool integration, application firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and enterprise desktop deployment.
• Data analysis, data quality, data lifecycle, data lineage, data privacy, and data protection knowledge are requested.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• CompTIA Security+, CIPP, and Microsoft Security Operations Analyst SC-200 are stated as mandatory.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with GDPR, HIPAA, NIA, Qatar 2022 CSF, or ISO 27001 is a plus.
• CISSP, CEH, A+, Network+, SANS GSEC, or GCED certifications are advantageous.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
