Role overview
Provide technical support and development for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O).
The description states a minimum of eight years of technical experience; the experience section marks eight years as preferred.
D365 development and integrations
- Develop extensions, deploy code and objects, add features, and fix bugs in D365 F&O.
- Analyze and design development tasks and write clear X++ code.
- Work with integration technologies and develop HR and payroll solutions.
- Create SSRS reports using queries and RDP, Controller, UI-Builder, and Contract classes.
- Build processes in X++, configure security, and create or customize Data Entities.
DevOps and platform work
- Maintain code, builds, and releases in Azure DevOps, including branching and deployment troubleshooting.
- Set up development VMs and extend D365 F&O with Power Platform and Power Automate.
- Document and troubleshoot errors and problems.
- Create and publish custom apps to Microsoft AppSource.
- Work with budgeting, procurement, HR and payroll, and accounts payable modules and processes.
User support and schedule
- Understand business-user issues and provide appropriate solutions and support.
- Respond to how, where, and why queries and use the QT ticketing application for support tickets.
- Be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Qatar time, or a shift assigned by the QT IT manager.
Experience and capabilities
- At least eight years of D365 ERP F&O technical experience is stated; the experience section marks this as preferred.
- Technical experience in D365 F&O development, extensions, deployment, and bug fixing.
- Experience with integrations, X++, SSRS reports and specified report classes, Azure DevOps, branching, deployment troubleshooting, and D365 development VM setup.
- Good communication and ability to understand business-user issues and provide suitable solutions and support.
