Role overview

Business applications and integrations

• Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Recommend best practices, process improvements, and automation; collaborate with IT, finance, and operations.
• Lead business application implementation and configuration, including Dynamics 365 entities, fields, forms, views, workflows, and processes.
• Manage system upgrades and Microsoft patches/releases; develop plugins, JavaScript, .NET extensions, and workflows.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 with external systems using REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Dataverse, Azure services, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and third-party applications.
• Design microservices-based solutions and use Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, load balancers, and service mesh.
• Design and implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
• Manage Dynamics 365 data models, entities, and relationships; build Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Implement data migration with Data Export Service, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory; optimize Dataverse performance and data integrity.

AI, deployment, and support

• Design Azure OpenAI solutions using GPT models and embeddings; build and fine-tune models for text generation, summarization, and NLP.
• Develop AI chatbots, virtual assistants, and document intelligence solutions using Azure AI services.
• Customize Copilot and build Copilot Studio applications; integrate Copilot features with Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Optimize AI workloads on Azure Machine Learning and Azure Cognitive Services; secure deployments with Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure DevOps.
• Apply AI governance and responsible AI practices; ensure data privacy, regulatory compliance, and application security.
• Monitor and maintain AI solutions for performance, accuracy, and reliability; troubleshoot bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Use Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines for integrations and deployments.
• Ensure system scalability, high availability, and compliance with security policies.
• Train end-users, support adoption, write technical documentation and user guides, and provide ongoing post-implementation maintenance.

Technical qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business and custom applications.
• Strong expertise in Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse/CDS.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and TypeScript for Dynamics 365 customizations.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and FetchXML; REST APIs, OAuth, OData, and Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with ERP/CRM workflows, security roles, business process automation, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and ALM.
• Strong knowledge of business processes in finance, supply chain, sales, and customer service.
• Experience gathering business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and providing functional consulting.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
• 14+ years in business applications management, IT consulting, or enterprise software solutions.
• 5+ years of IT/software project management experience, including scope definition, budgeting, and risk management.
• Experience supporting large-scale business applications in enterprise IT environments.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, manage change, and support project delivery.

Project management and tools

• Experience with project management tools such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, Microsoft Project, or Trello.

Preferred certifications

• AI technology, BI technology, Microsoft Business Applications Solution Architect, Azure Solution Architect, and PMP certifications are listed as preferred and are not mandatory.
