Endoscopy Nurse

Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy rooms, equipment, and instruments before procedures.
• Assist physicians during upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and handling of endoscopy equipment according to infection control standards.
• Provide patient education and instructions before and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Coordinate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor inventory and ensure the availability of endoscopy supplies and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• **Valid DHA License (mandatory).**
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse in a hospital setting.
• Previous work experience in Dubai hospitals is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures, patient preparation, and recovery care.
• Experience in assisting with Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, and therapeutic endoscopic procedures is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of infection control and endoscope reprocessing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in Dubai hospitals or healthcare facilities is preferred.
