Join Our Emergency Department Team
Naoero Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated **Emergency Medicine Specialist** to provide high-quality emergency and acute care services in the Republic of Nauru.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Provide leadership and clinical oversight within the Emergency Department.
- Perform emergency procedures and resuscitation as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and support junior medical staff and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance activities.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and international best practices.
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine.
- Current specialist registration/license to practice.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-specialization experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working in remote, regional, or resource-limited settings is an advantage.
