SUREFLOW develops IoT hardware and software products and is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to drive projects from concept through production.
The position is full-time and in person in Dubai.
Pay is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements and design embedded system architecture; write and debug C/C++ code.
- Interface microcontrollers with sensors, memory chips, and actuators; test systems, fix bugs, and verify functionality.
- Optimize performance, efficiency, and power consumption; collaborate with hardware and software developers.
- Own firmware schedules end to end, including task breakdown, effort estimates, dependency sequencing, and milestone tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 1–3 years of embedded C/C++ experience.
- Understand microcontroller interrupts, timers, memory, registers, and peripheral interfaces; experience with ESP32.
- Familiarity with FreeRTOS or Zephyr RTOS; knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE, LoRa, Wi-Fi, and 4G protocols.
- Ability to read schematics and understand hardware-software interactions; knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Git and structured development workflows; basic Python or scripting for testing and automation; debugging experience with GDB, JTAG, or logic analyzers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills; nRF microcontroller experience is a plus.
- Must be immediately available and already based in Dubai.
Pay
- AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
