Electronics Lab Technician II

What you will do:

• Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Support product development activities by designing and fabricating commercial HVAC system simulators with modest guidance from Engineering.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair of Trane commercial HVAC technologies, controls, and electronics components
• Execute electronics testing procedures for VFDs and motors developed by engineering teams, using programmable AC supplies, load systems, and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes.
• Support end-to-end concept and validation controls testing with instrumentation and data acquisition setup with guidance from Engineering and Senior Technicians
• Drive for continuous improvement in job performance and laboratory procedures
• What you will bring:
• Candidates without a degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles
• · Associate’s Degree in Electronics or Electromechanical (or related technical discipline) and at least 5-years of relevant experience; OR at least 10-years of relevant electronics experience is required.
• · Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
• Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
• $40,000.00 - $86,200.00
