Electrical Supervisor / HVAC Supervisor

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise site installation, maintenance, testing, and repair; coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Monitor work quality, progress, materials, tools, and manpower allocation.
• Inspect installations and equipment, troubleshoot defects, and ensure proper operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, technical standards, and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, layouts, and equipment specifications; coordinate with project teams and other trades to resolve site issues.
• Prepare daily reports, inspection records, maintenance logs, and progress updates.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and support equipment testing, commissioning, and handover.
• For senior-level responsibilities, provide technical guidance, improve procedures, and support planning and execution.

Requirements

• A diploma, technical certificate, or relevant Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related qualification is preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical works, HVAC systems, facilities maintenance, or MEP project supervision.
• Good knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to prioritize site work and perform under pressure.
• Understanding of workplace safety, quality control, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in technical reporting and basic computer applications; relevant technical certifications or training are advantageous.
• Electrical Supervisor experience should cover distribution, wiring, panels, and equipment; HVAC Supervisor experience should cover air-conditioning, ventilation, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, or HVAC maintenance or installation.
