Role overview
Lead a field team and oversee electrical installation works for ongoing government construction projects in Qatar.
The position is safety-focused and requires in-person work.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works and site teams.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials, quality, and work schedules.
- Inspect electrical installations and resolve site-related technical issues.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Prepare daily reports and required site documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of health and safety procedures.
Qualifications and experience
- 10–15 years of experience in electrical construction and site supervision.
- Qatar or GCC/Gulf experience is required.
- Experience with government or large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
- MMUP certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety requirements and site procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project documentation.
- Must currently be based in Qatar and available to join on short notice.
