Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation work at project sites.
- Manage electricians, helpers, and technicians.
- Oversee power, lighting, cable containment, cable pulling, and electrical panel installations.
- Supervise low-current systems, including fire alarm and emergency lighting, as applicable.
- Read electrical drawings, layouts, and approved shop drawings.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety rules.
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, site supervisors, and other MEP trades to resolve site issues.
- Monitor manpower, progress, productivity, and material needs; report progress, shortages, and issues to the Electrical Engineer.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning, and correction of site observations; maintain housekeeping and safety compliance.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman in MEP contracting; UAE experience preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical installation work in building projects.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and installation details.
- Experience supervising electricians, helpers, and technicians.
- Knowledge of power, lighting, cable containment, cable pulling, and electrical panel installation.
- Low-current and fire alarm system familiarity is advantageous.
- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site teams, meet deadlines, and handle challenging work situations.
- UAE-based candidates, immediate availability, and relevant MEP/building project experience are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 2,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person at project sites in Dubai.
