Role responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical works related to 11kV power distribution networks.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of medium-voltage electrical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of 11kV cables, RMUs, switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, utility standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with utility authorities, consultants, contractors, and project teams; monitor progress, materials, and site activities.
- Conduct site inspections with QA/QC teams and support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in electrical power distribution projects, preferably involving 11kV networks.
- Strong knowledge of medium-voltage systems, RMUs, switchgear, transformers, and MV cable installation.
- Experience in electrical site execution, testing, commissioning, or project supervision.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with UAE utility authority requirements and approval procedures is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE or GCC power distribution project experience is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000–10,000 per month.
